1.When and where were you born?
November 13, 1982 in La Porte City, Iowa
2. When did you start playing Volleyball?
When I was 17
3. Any other members of your family were sportsmen?
My Father and Brother both played basketball in College
4. Would you describe your city?
Pittsburgh is Beautiful, with a strong and tough history and a great Football(american) team the Steelers
5. Where are you living now? What can you tell me about how do you feel in Tarragona?
I am living in Tarragona, Spain. I really like the city, I think it is a beautiful place and I am enjoying my time here very much
6. You have played in many countries, have you any preference?
I have played in Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Indonesia. Spain has probably been the best. However, Indonesia was very unique and different and I liked it very much.
7. Have you any favourite food?
Sushi, Love it!
8. Is there any major difference between playing volleyball in US and Spain?.
Just that there is no professional league in the US, when I was playing there I was also going to school which was the number one priority.
9.What is the most important think that one volleyball player need to have o has to know ?
For me I think its the ability to adapt, and grow. I am from America and my teammates are from other parts of the world or Spain, and it is important that we are able to come together and play as one.
10. You play like middle, what is important think when you play that you have to do ?
Understanding the game and your part of it. For middles it is most important that we block, but we still need to know and be prepared to perform all tasks of the game
12. Have you any idol in Volleyball (a player that inspired you)?
No certain volleyball players, but I would say that my Brother and my Father greatly influenced me and inspired me.
13. How is Alberto Tolibio as a coach?
Alberto is a very good coach, very tough and demanding, but understands the game and what it takes to win.
14. Which was the worst period of your career?
I have not had one, being able to play a game for a living is better than any job that my friends at home are doing, so I never try to take that for granted. I have also never had any major injuries. 15. How do you spend your spare time off the Volleyball?
With friends and family, I also really enjoying golfing and try to get out as much as I can
16. Have you any favourite writer or actor?
Harper Lee, he wrote my favorite book "To Kill A Mocking Bird"
17. Would you try to imagine yourself in 20 years?
Back Living in America with a family, a Big house, and a Beautiful wife
